Hexbrief is a text-first engineering reading app. It helps readers discover engineering blog posts and decide whether to open the original article.
Hexbrief does not require an account for the beta release.

These counters are used to understand which articles are useful to readers and to improve content selection. They are not linked to a named user account.
Hexbrief does not intentionally collect:
Hexbrief does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs in the beta release.
We use app data to:
Hexbrief uses Supabase to store article data and aggregate article counters.
Hexbrief uses Expo and Google Play for app distribution and testing.
When you tap “Read Full”, the app opens the original publisher website. That website is controlled by the publisher and is governed by the publisher’s own privacy policy.
Saved articles and preferences are stored locally on your device. You can remove local app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
Backend article data and aggregate counters are stored in Supabase.
Hexbrief is intended for software engineers and technical readers. It is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy as the app changes. If we make meaningful changes, we will update the “Last updated” date.
